From my beginnings as a combat veteran in the United States Air Force to leading transformative projects in AI governance my journey is driven by the belief that inspiration, resilience, and alignment are the cornerstones of success.

My career began in the United States Air Force with experience in investigation, intelligence gathering, and standards evaluation. During my time in the military I worked with cutting-edge technology and was responsible for enforcing flying standards and monitoring flight safety in our unit. Here, I found a passion for risk management.

After transitioning from the military I landed a Governance Analyst role in Model Risk which as a result of regulatory attention was a rapidly growing space in the financial industry. Eventually I was providing core updates to senior leaders and transitioned into a Project Management role for the Model Risk Team. Here, I found a passion for project management and the coordination of highly effective teams by acting as a bridge between quantitative and business teams.

Further as a Senior Model Risk Governance Manager, I gained experience in an abundance of procurement reviews. I provided a specialized review and challenge of new and changing products to identify potential Artificial Intelligence Risks and ensure that vendors would be able to meet Governance and Policy Standards. Here, while navigating the complex terrain of Artificial Intelligence, I learned about the importance of policy, standards, and governance to safeguard institutions and society.

As the CEO of Craft Coffee House, I’ve exemplified the power of vision, hospitality and leadership. My work here reflects my ability to merge creativity with structure, inspiring excellence and bringing people together over shared values and goals. I believe that businesses thrive when their values are aligned with their operations.

Now, through I Am Light Here Now, LLC, I guide entrepreneurs to transform chaos into structured flow through alignment and help teams with Artificial Intelligence projects, specifically with coordination and consideration of governance and risk management. Through all that I do I aim to serve by transmuting challenges, create meaningful impact and inspire others.
